If you follow these best practices for social media strategy your business’ social media should start to see improvement.

1. Choose the right platforms

2. Consistency

Make sure your brand is recognizable across all the social media platforms being used.

You can do this by using your logo as your profile image on every platform. Also keep a consistent description by adding in your tagline and what your companies purpose is.

3. Set reasonable goals

Set goals that are going to be easily achievable and once your social media begins to get better and better you can make yourself harder goals.

Some examples of goals are to increase followers, increase engagement, and increase brand awareness. You can also add in numbers to the goals to make them more specific and measurable. For instance, if you are trying to increase followers you can set yourself a goal of 100 more followers in the next month.

4. Analytics

Look at analytics each week to determine what is working for your social media accounts and what isn't.

5. Learn your audience

Determine what kind of posts they like to see. Do they like photos or videos better? What do they engage with more? This can help you determine the type of content you should be posting.
